The goal of ASL is to instill on it's participants the ideals of good sportsmanship, loyalty, courage, teamwork and discipline. These objectives can be reached by attempting to provide the highest quality of guidance. Coaches and volunteers shall bear in mind that the winning of games or individual achievements are secondary to the players well being. The goal for all coaches and volunteers is to provide an environment for the player to have fun, while learning the aspects of the game of soccer.

The ejected person shall leave the field and have no further contact with the team until the game is finalized. There shall be a two game suspension (current game plus the next) for any person ejected. Furthermore ASL Judiciary Committee may add to that suspension if deemed necessary. A referee's act of ejection is to his/her discretion alone and is not open to appeal. The suspended person has the right to appeal only any added suspension time. The appeal shall be submitted to the Referee Assignor and the President of ASL with in 48 hours of the suspension.
